Our leadership team is committed to shepherding the church, equipping believers for ministry, and helping people experience Real Hope for Real Life through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Elders

Senior Pastor

Lyn Hill

Pastor Lyn has faithfully served as Senior Pastor of New Hope Church since 2008. Throughout more than 35 years of ministry in South Carolina, he has served as a Senior Pastor, Church Planter, Associate Pastor, and Youth Pastor.

Having personally experienced God’s grace and restoration, Pastor Lyn is passionate about sharing the Gospel and helping people discover the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Lyn and his wife, Betsy, have been blessed with three children and six grandchildren, who bring great joy to their lives.

Associate Pastor

Ben Hill

Ben serves as Associate Pastor at New Hope Church. During more than 15 years of ministry, he has served in a variety of leadership roles including Youth Pastor, Church Planter, Associate Pastor, and Senior Pastor.

Ben is passionate about teaching God’s Word and helping people find their greatest joy and satisfaction in Jesus Christ.

He and his wife, April, are blessed with three children.

Elder

Casey Faulkenberry

Casey has been a member of New Hope Church since 2013 and has served as an Elder since 2018.

He lives in Camden with his wife, Amy, and their three children. Professionally, Casey serves as Director of the Alternative Program for the Kershaw County School District.

Casey has a heart for discipleship, leadership, and helping people feel welcomed and connected within the church family.

Elder | Worship & Student Ministries

Adam Lashley

Adam and his family joined New Hope Church after retiring from military service in 2022. Following more than 25 years of service in the United States Army, Adam, his wife Valerie, and their sons Eliah and Jonah settled in South Carolina.

Adam has served in churches throughout the United States and overseas as a worship leader, youth minister, small group leader, teacher, and men’s ministry leader.

Together, Adam and Valerie are passionate about helping people grow in their faith, worship Christ wholeheartedly, and build strong families grounded in God’s Word.

Harry Harllee

Harry faithfully serves New Hope Church through leadership, care, encouragement, and ministry support.

Missions Coordinator

Amy Faulkenberry

Amy has served as Missions Coordinator since joining New Hope Church in 2013.

She lives in Camden with her husband, Casey, and their three children. Professionally, Amy serves as a Physical Therapist with Kershaw Health.

Amy is passionate about helping New Hope Church fulfill its mission to love and serve a lost and broken world through local outreach, missions, and Gospel-centered ministry opportunities.
